About the event
All Ages.
Free and open to the public.
Participants will contribute to a sound archive and create site- and sound-responsive mixed-media artworks. Through deep listening and hands-on making, we’ll spark curiosity and imagination while amplifying the voices of the site’s smallest inhabitants. The workshop will be facilitated by Lynne Smith, artist, designer, and educator, and in collaboration with the Fowler-Finn Lab.
A special thanks to the National Building Arts Center for hosting research and public programming, and to the Luminary, a local arts organization that provided support for this program through a Futures Fund grant, a regranting initiative supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation.
